Clutch chatter is a very distinct vibration throughout the whole car when you first let the clutch out. You'll know when you experience it

when the car is sitting at idle do you hear the noise, but then it goes away once you push in the clutch?

When im at idle there is no noise no matter what rpm i rev to.When im stopped whether i put it in first or im already in 1st gear and start to roll i hear the noise. Then ill shift to 2nd and ill hear it again for a little bit untill i get over 3500-4000 rpms

wouldnt say that there is a way to "fix" clutch chatter other than being smarter in your choice of clutch.

Well after jacking up the car and looking under the tranny i noticed that the small flywheel cover that came on my old USDM H22 was hitting the oil pan(JDM H22) causing a slight dent to be made in the pan and wearing on the flywheel cover. Also one of the bolts holding it on was also loose. So i took it off and im going to drive it tomorrow to see if thats the problem.

For a little more background info.Last year i did the JDM H22 swap and i belive the JDM motor was a 4th gen motor because the oil pan is entirerly different then my old USDM h22,thus causing the flywheel cover to not fit correctly.
