Default Front H&R Race springs way too low?

Holy ****, I just installed my front h&r race springs and my stock 15's are tucking tire!! Its about a finger width tire tuck.. is this normal? I am running aftermarket tires so maybe its just the high side walls? The rear's had a reasonable drop to what I expected but holy crap the front!!

I mean the tire tuck isn't anything too bad but the rear's didn't even up the look, it dropped but it dropped as much as the front then I wouldnt care.

h&r race, stock front struts, kyb rear struts. 205 45 16 for the front tires, rear are 215 40 16

I think it might be your rim/tire setup either that or the springs are worn...or maybe your struts are worn...You've got some camber issues

Springs don't get worn that bad to where is loses it drop zone by that much.

Bump!!

I just now remembered when we pulled my struts out they had no bump stops at the time i didn't know what they looked like but we pulled some struts out of a friends EF and he had some.. Could that be why I got that extra drop in the front?

shouldn't be- that just affects it when your strut is all the way compressed

Then any idea why my front end is slammed and tucking tire so bad? I'm thinking my struts/shocks are blown.. I read up on symptoms of blown shocks and it says unlevel car and sags lower then the rear. I have all those problems.

are you sure you got the right springs on the front of the car??? I know it sounds crazy, I bought my 92 Si from a guy in FL and it had AGXs and Ground Controls. After taking my suspension apart numerous times and not being able to get the car to sit level, I found out the springs will interchange front to rear. Maybe that is what happened???

The springs that were label F were short and the R springs were a pretty long.. I'm sure I got it right though?

just wondering, because I recently removed my Ground Controls for Skunk 2 drop springs and they had no markings at all to tell front from rear. Maybe better shocks would help.

did you just install it or has it settled?

if you're running a huge tire, like a 205-60-15, it is def possible after it settles.

My car is tucking tire too. I installed some eibach springs and kyb shocks. I didn't know what a bumpstop looked like until I read about it on a thread. It could be that because my springs shouldn't even lower the car more than 1". Its at 2 1/2" right now!
