i have a 93 prelude with a h23 engine in it the disturbutor malfunctioned wich led to the timing belt to slip wich might of bent the valves car work start all you hear is a metal noise like a hammer any suggestions any one

 

take it apart and fix it................or time for a h22a swap

i was afraid it would be bent valves dose anyone know how much it would cost to do or should i just slap a used head on it?

 

If the head is in good shape it shouldnt be to bad to just do a regrind and replace. Maybe between 200-300 if you pull the head yourself.
