Default Civic Si Questions

My Motor
Stock b16a2 60k miles
Aem V2 Intake
4-1 Dc Header
Msd 6a Spark plugs, Ignition etc
Hi Flo Cat

Future parts ?
Skunk2 pro series manifold
Skunk2 tb not sure what size

So far my car is somewhat smog legal besides the cat which i can easily switch out. I want to know what i can do to gain a couple more hp in parts. Like i said i want to keep it ''smog legal'' so i dont really want to add a whole hell of a lot of internals, but i do need some advice in what i could do to make it run better. Im not trying to be super fast but my goal is to have a simple and fun car, any help is appreciated

skunk 2 stage 1, toda spec a or rm m21 camshafts would suit your motor nicely.

Id keep the stock im and open it up to a 62mm and use a stock R throttle body.

A good way to increase your acceleration yet maintain smog is directing your attention towards your transmission. A 4.9 FD or gear set would make a DRASTIC difference in your acceleration. Type r cams also gets my vote.
