s2000 window wont roll up ?????
ok so i sold my vafc2 to my friend that has an ap1 s2000 (i think ap1, dont no if that matters anyways) but like i said i sold him my vafc2 and he hooked it up correctly and all the wires are clean up. but now that the vafc2 is hooked up, his passenger window will not roll up. however everything else in the car (ex. drivers window, lights, locks) all work perfectly fine.. does anyone have any sort of ideas on what may of happend.. i believe that it may of been a freak accident that the passeger window motor went out at the same time as the install... any ideas ???? tahnks
im not sure where you mounted it, or how the wiring is run on an s2000, but you either messed (spliced into, or accidently cut) a wire that leads to the window motor or switch, or it is completley unrelated and just a fluke. Get a test light, make sure the switch is providing pwr to the motor, and check for pwr at the motor itself.

no way in hell does a window motor just die for no reason, so you can rule freak coincidence out.
i would definetly suggest that you have the child lock on for the window. that seems like it would make the most sense, because if you ended up splicing any wires for the passenger door...which doesnt make any sense to begin with..you wouldnt have everything else working so perfectly, imo it doesnt make any sence. can someone pull up diagrams of the window motor and its connecting wires to help him out? i cant find any, and i am extremely lazy.
also, you need to be more specific...does it roll down but not up? is there no response at all? can you here the motor trying to turn?

window motors can go out out of no where. Trust me, i deal with 10-15 window motor claims per day, as a claims adjuster for an extended warranty. Really this guy just needs to perform a basic circut check. (check fuse, make sure switch is reciving power, check for power out of the switch, check for power at the window motor, check for ground at the window motor, ect...)
