Thinking of setting up a crazy alarm system... (yes, very crazy).
95 honda accord.
OK, first I would like to know where can I get a LoJack installed for my car and any idea how much that product might cost?
I was also thinking of hooking up a Clifford Matrix 3.5, Viper 791xv, and the Clifford Matrix 1 mile range (all three spliced together and connected) alarms to my car. Splicing all the wires so that if one brain disarms, the other goes on. Would this be a good idea to mix everything in with the LoJack?
As of now, I want to make things even harder to get in the car. Regular alarm. Believe it or not, it takes me at least a minute daily to remove everything in the car w/ keys and everything right now. I have 2 autolocks on the pedals. Driver, passenger, and rear seats folded and the headrests is hooked onto the steering wheel, side doors, and criss crossing each other with 6 clubs (meant for steering wheels, but oh well).
The headrests are also hooked on autolocks, pushing against the rear seats so they cannot be lifted. A bag of rice is also on top of the rear seats, so i have to remove that everyday.

Alright.. We definitely say redundancy is good, but you're going overboard... Not only is 3 separate alarms not necessary, it would require 3 times the isolation to keep them from interfering with each other... Are you going to carry 3 remotes on your keychain???
I understand that you love your car. We all do. But you're approaching the Obsessive Compulsive Disorder status here man...
Have you even read SuspendedHatch's website?

i mean, lojack is just a tracking device. the guy told me he will be charging me $795 for basic lojack, $1K for early warning, and $1.5K for lifetime warranty (whatever that is). is everyone going with the basic lojack nowadays? i just need the one where police officers can detect the car.
so can i have a lojack and at least ONE DEI alarm in my car? will there be interference between those two?

do you really need so much stuff in your car? what is soo special about the 95 accord that you need to spend as much money as your car is worth on alarms and crap? and to have all that **** inside your car every day? i think you can get a decent alarm for a couple hundred, you can get a basic lojack for 595, and you can hook up your own ignition cut off switch and fuel cut off switch, so the only way someone is stealing your car is if they flatbed it. and thats where the lojack comes handy.
There's no benefit to multiple alarms in the same car.
There's no problem running a tracking device and an alarm in the same car. It's recommended, in fact.
If you want to get tracking and an alarm at the same time, it will probably be cheaper to get a DEI alarm and the DEI tracking module instead of lojack, ie, a Viper 5000 and a Viper 210V.
Who the hell is anyone to question whether he needs security? Even a stock 12 year old car needs security. It's not something your car has to qualify for.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^there's a dei tracking module? my job is an authorized dei dealer but can't find that module, but i heard of it before. have u installed one? u kno what alarms they're compatible with? i'm an installer so installing it shouldn't be any problem... and i can probably order it from dei with an accomodation or something. but yea, a model number and possibly link to it would be great. thx man
you should b good with the setup u have now. seems like your deterring the thief enough with the autolocs and the bag of rice, he'll probably just cross the street and pick up another Honda.

Make sure that you buy the palm pilot from dei too so you can program the unit. The newer palm pilots won't work with the program right. Trust me I tried it.
