Default Domelight Problems

I have a 98 ex that had keyless entry until i put in an Acura cd player. Now my domelight doesnt work unless i flip the switch to "on". Someone on the board said that the domelight was controlled through the oem stereo as well.

Does anyone know how to make it so the domelight will work without the oem stereo? Thanks in advance.

Two wires need to be jumped in the larger of the 2 green plugged harnesses. Can't remember which 2 of the top of my head but it should be in the useful links thread at the top of the ek forum.

you need to jump lt. green/red to lt. green/ black in the green plug. then your dome light will work.

to what he said
but your keyless entry still won't work
you'd need some sort of aftermarket security system or keyless unit
