I've searched a lot about radar detectors, google, H-T and bunch of other radar test websites but still couldn't come up with an answer to the follwoing.
Which radar detector to buy? BEL RX65 Pro or Escort Passport X50? Both cost about the same online but might be a little bit in performance even though both companies owned by the same companies and have the same soft/screen etc.
PS: It would be really nice to hear from someone who either owned both or has a friends with listed radars, any comments would be good.
PPS: I am not buying V1 because its just outdated and please don't tell me other wise, its a decision that I made a while ago.

Anyways... I own the 8500x and love it... I used to have a Bel way back in the day and it I only got rid of it because I started working at Best Buy and got a killer discount on the Escort 8500 (before the "x")...

I spent the $$ and got the hard wire kit & visor clip...
