i have a 97 ex civic with a b16a SiRII motor. It has the lsd tranny, i was just wondering if a clutch that will fit a 99-00 SI will work on my car as well. if not what should i look for?

stage one is more than stock, actually
theres no real need to get anything mroe than a stock clutch for what you have planned - it will hold fine

which is a 99-00 civic SI kit. i was told by gripforce it will fit my SIRII motor but im not sure i believe them so if someone can get back to me on that for some reassurance that would be awesome!

I put down almost 300 hp on the street with a stock clutch on a B16 tranny before it started to slip. Of course, when I acually got traction with some slicks, that clutch was done for... I was still REALLY surprised at how much abuse a stock unit can handle on a b series...

You should be just fine with the stock one...if you REALLY have to put something stiffer in it. Get the exedy stage one. It uses a stock disc, with about a 26% (if I remeber correctly) boost in clamp load over the stock pressure plate. I have this in my 12 sec. daily driver. It's VERY driver friendly. Almost just like stock, only a little stiffer pedal...
