i am planning on buying a h22 eg. I would like to know a few things. I have been out of the import seen since 98 i had a kid. I have read juss about all the info on this site about H22 swap. I would like to know some of the the guys that have suspension setup. I also plan on getting the head built asap for winter turbo build. What kind of valve train would u guys recommend. I juss been gone for awhile and need some help I will have more questions.

my suspension i had on mine was a kyb agx 4adj/progress h springs did good not to bad on the axles drove great. hope that helps a bit. Also i had rocketmotorsports valvetrain pretty good

 

Recommended suspension set-up:

Megan Racing:
Front & Rear Upper strut bars
Front and Rear lower strut/tie bars
H-Brace
LCA's (if you wanna spend da $$ for the looks)
Short Shifter (it's nice, not part of suspension, but oh well)
Adjustable coilovers
Shocks
Camber Kit
C-pillar bar (not on coupe, won't help u at all)

here as the specs on my h22 ek.

tokico 5 way adjustables
ground control coilovers
Place Racing axles
Password JDM 3 point front strut bar
Password JDM 4 point rear strut tower bar
some POS rear B pillar bar
Omni power LCAs
CTR rear sway bar
Place racing mounts - which were horrible. wayyy too much vibration
and as for brakes, i just had GSR front and rear disc brakes.

 

i got the omni powers 12k front 10k rear.. work great!

 

have you checked the hybrid forum, there are huge posts there about h22 swaps..
