i put a d15b in my hatch with a p28 ecu.

both ecu and d15b was in previous car vtec worked everything was fine.

the last 2 days vtec hasnt been kicking in and it has been idleing at about 1.2rpm

i checked to see what cel is was throwing and was o2 sensor.

than tonight i ran it down the street and it idles at like .5 rpm now and vtec kicked in and the last time it kicked in right before i got to the house it backfired.

anyone got any ideas what is going on with it?

try replacing the o2 sensor then....

 

think thats all it is?

 

what car did the motor come out of?

Check engine => O2 sensor. Why are you asking if thats the problem? The ecu just told you what the problem was!
