Default How do you replace your plugs?

I have a 98 civic ex and I was told I need to be careful not to strip something when I take the plugs off to replace them. Can anyone tell me how exactly to replace the plugs?

changing plugs is by far the easiest job to do. First get a spark plug socket, long extention, and a ratchet. Then one by one you take it off you would a bolt. Replace like you would a bolt. Go one by one so you dont mess up your firing order.

messing up your firing order would be pretty hard if you have the proper plug wires, which are diff. lengths. Anyway, whoever told you that just meant to make sure you dont force them in the wrong way, and mess up the threads, which would be a pain in the *** to fix. And put some antiseize on those things, and dont overtighten them.

Just be sure you dont over torque them too tightly or crossthread.
They will screw in super smooth and super easy if theyre threaded right. Never force plugs.
I suggest a little antisieze on the threads too.
Tq spec is only 13 ft/lbs

It is easier to remove the spark plugs if your engine is warm, if you have problems taking them out when it's cold.
