The jdm ones are a much cleaner look. the 3m taped ones are fully functional. Like the above poster said, depends on your perference for look.

The jdm ones will last longer due to the fact that the 3m tape will eventually lose it stickiness. I have gone thru at least 4 pairs of the cheap ones because the glue dries out in cold weather.

The JDM clipped in ones are well worth it. Don't ever have to worry about it flying on while driving or through a car wash.

What if you were to get the taped on ones that mount "in-channel" I can get them for 30 bucks and if there's no difference except for being HOP and "mad tyte JDM yo" then I may get the AVS ones.

Just get the OEM JDM's....You'll probably break off even from all the generic one's you'll have to replace once they fly away!

I used to work for Advance Auto Parts and we had returns on the stick on visors all the damn time. Apparently they start flying off around 50-60mph. Get the OEM ones, it's worth not having to deal with them flying off the car.

The company that makes in-channel mounted ones, just as good as the fanboi JDM ones is AVS (auto vent shade) Most famous for their ugly truck tailight covers and bugflectors. I'll get a set, and if you never see a post about it ever again, you know they work just fine.

It's not all about being JDM .... it's more about factory reliability.
