I BEAM QUESTION
OK I am currently rebuilding my gsr block. My previous setup was ctr slugs on stock shot peened rods. Now I have some custom lightweight CP pistons and I wanna get some lightweight I beam rods. I have brand new eagle h beams but after some research I found they weigh 540g where as I found a I beam made by PROBE that is 480g that's a big difference. Now my question is has anyone ever used probe I beams b4 and how good r they. Thanx.

Not steel GSR rods.
Not steel GSR rods.
what are you planning to do with the build if it just going to be na the carrilo pro a's are a great choice one of the lightest steel rods on the market i believe. but come at a price
my engine builder pulled ib spec 13:1 pistons and eagle rods of out a engine and put in the same compression cp's with pro a rods and dropped over 110 grams per hole. so over 440 total which is a **** load in internal parts he said it would rev like a bike engine on his dyno afterwards compared to before.

well the pistons are 245g and the probe rods are are 486g. better than my ol setup je slugs 285g with eagle hbeams 540g so i think over all me goin with the probe rods will be good cuz i really dont wanna spend like 800 on rods
