Default the smokeing......

I have had a b18c motor in my 00 hatch for a while now and it has been all good for 8 months, and i have taken it to the track a couple times, as one should with thier weekend toy. well I made a pass and my buddy who i always go with knowticed i was smokeing pretty bad, so i let him run it a couple times in diffrent ways, and noted that even under full throttle it dosent smoke untill vtec comes on, and as soon as vtec comes on it starts smokeing, can anyone tell me what this could be? Bad valve seals/guides? piston rings even???

is it black smoke... then your running rich
if its blue smoke then you need to do a compression test and a leak down test

the smoke isnt blue, it isnt black its just white, and it dosent smell like oil, it just smells like a really strong exhaust smell.

valve seals would smoke under high rpm decell, when the engine is at high vacuum. not under wot when there is lik 1-0 inches of vacuum. do a compression/leak down its most likly the piston rings. if the compression/leak down test results r ok then check the pcv system for clogs. hope this helps
