Default OBD2B to OBD1 blowing ECU fuses

I have a 00 civic cx with a y7/y8 mini with a p2p. I'm trying to convert to obd1 with a streetlightz.com obd2b to obd1 harness. The problem is that every time i hook up the harness to the p06 or the p28 to the ecu harness it keeps blowing the ecu fuse every time. I replace the fuse, put back in the p2p and every thing is all gravy. I'm 99% sure i don't have a short in the stock harness cause the p2p works fine. Doesn't blow any fuses. Its only when i try to use the harness and the obd1 ecus. Can anyone help me out?

not trying to thread jack but i have a similar problem with my streetlightz obd2b (orange wires) conversion harness everytime my rpm hits 5000 it bounces back to zero car bogs for a quick second check engine flashs once only does this with jumper is installed
test my chipped ecu in another car had no problems so my ecu is good
tried to contact streetlightz sent them a few emails but had no response supposely these have a lifetime warranty but what good is a lifetime waranty with no customer service. i should have spent that extra 5-10 bucks on somthing better
because of this BS i can't get my tuned

goofyej6 let me know if the new jumper fixs your problem
