anything differnt with the d-series oil pans? it's time for me to get another pan. bolt hole is stripped out, and pan is pulled already. junk yard in the morning. so i need to know if any thing would be different.

I don't think you'll find any that are deeper. They all should hold ~4 quarts, regardless of its depth. I know the 96+ pans are different from the 95- pans, but I only have z6/y7/y8 experience. I've never bothered to take a d15 apart, there are some things even I won't do.

 

the d15b7 and d16z6 have different pans. they physically looked different
