Default 99 civic stock motor rebuild questions

hey guys im new to the forum and looking to re build my stock ex motor due to the fact that it burns alot of oil
i do plan on turboing it in the future but only 4-9psi
what kind of componets do you suggest i use?

I just used stock parts. Re used the rods and pistons, new rings, bearings, i think those were acl, new oem oil pump, measure all your tolerances, and assembale. I would also recommend new valve seals, since that could easily be your issue. Have you done compression test?

Might want to look into the valve seals, and make sure you pcv system is working right before you do anything.

no i have not tested it
it started burning oil after i was stupid one night and a bit drunk and just droped the clutch and let it bounce off the rev limiter for like 30 seconds
now i burn like a quart of oil every 2,000 miles or less
