Default Fog Light Harness Question

Did anyone else run into the same problem I am having?

The fog light harness does not fit into the plug in the fog lights. Is there something I am missing that is suppose to make this work?

These are 99-00 Civic aftermarket foglights. I'm looking through some e-bay auctions and they are using the same harness as well.

Example of e-bay ad:

Can you take a less zoomed in picture? Where did you find that 2-pin male socket? That doesn't look ANYTHING like any foglight harness I've ever seen.

I took off the plastic piece off one of the ends. If there is no other solution, I'm just gonna end up soldering it together.

No, that's the female socket. I want to see the male socket (the big fat gray one).

Nah, I have the other harness for that.

Here's the male socket.

Odd .... because those look like OEM sensor plugs electrical taped to the end of the foglight pigtails.

Your best bet would be to go to Radio Shack and find some suitable matching male and female sockets that you can use with the existing wires. It would be a shame to have to solder wires together, because it'll make taking the front bumper off really hard.

Hm, yeah. I might go check to see what Radio Shack has. Thanks for the quick responses
