Default put the bottom end together last night...

nothing spectacular, with the help of a friend (wildoutwhiteGSR) we managed to put my CP pistons and eagle rods in my LS block; micropolished crank and topline bearings. all the clearances were dead on. i also got back my downpipe, i made this myself, did all the cuts and mocking up and had a friend tig weld it up. it came out pretty good for my first time making something

i did manage to break a piston ring tho thanks to this cheap *** piston ring compressor (stupid band type thing) but i got a replacement one and bought a good ring compressor. here's some pics:

my goofy *** checking clearances:

all finished:

and the downpipe:

May I ask why you went w/ Topline bearings?? I know friends and a lot of local people who have had no ends of problems w/ their OE style rings. I don't anyone running their bearings.

what do topline rings have anything to do with their bearings? your question kinda doesn't make sense?

I used the same assembly lube too. That torque wrench looks like a craftsman.
Awesome if your specs were good and all the same for each item. Hopefully you didn't make them too tight or loose.

The Topline packaged bearings for Honda that I have seen were all Kings. They are a good quality bearing as long as the clearances work out correct.
