re-installing lower and upper control arms onto ball joints.
im removing my hub to replace the wheel bearing, and I know how to remove the lca from the lower ball joint, but how do I remove the upper control arm and the lower tie rod from their ball joints?
and after the bearing is replaced, do I need to "pop" the control arms/tie rods into the ball joints? or do they just "slide" right in?

exactly. just torque to spec. then just a bit more to align the holes. dont back it out. please dont forget the cotter pin.

pickle forks suck, only use them if you are replacing them and dont care abotu destroying your ball joints. go to kragens, checkers, schucks and rent the 5 piece front end kit. there are two ball joint seperator things that work awesome and dont damage the balljoint. pops off super easy without any effort. dont waste your time with the hammer, your only gonna hit your balljoints and f' them up
