subframe braces
title says it.. ive searched a few times here and on another site and i cant find any info on anyone making any sub frame braces for the 4th gen lude. i have new sway bars and im looking for a little more ridgity. tower bars arent cracked up to be everything they are said so im looking for some good support. thanks guys
Did you try google or ebay? There's tons of people making rear under braces and Tanabe makes a front under brace. There's also C-pillar bars.......but none of these bolt-in bars compare to a real roll cage.
im looking for something along these lines.. i know its not a honda but it was the first thing i found with the bracing i want..

They don't make anything like that. If you really want one, you'll have to make it, but anybody who actually tracks their car will tell you those bars don't do a whole lot.

that would be custom on the lude. nobody makes them like that for our cars. one of the problems is you wouldnt have enough mounting points on the rear for that.
you really do not need to spend that much money on them. $121 is crazy for that the tanabe's are just as good and they are $70. but like hawkz said they really arent that great, i have them seemed like they helped a little bit but honestly it was probably just me thinking they did.

Yep, I don't think the subframes are the first weakpoints to cause flexing....and even if they were flexing is not necessarily bad. Maybe get some stiffer bushings first...
Older Shelby Cobras were supposed to flex, and when people tried to stiffen them up they handled worse
(I read too many magazines)

do some tower bars first they will do better than the subframes. you could do bushings they will help but its a hard install iff you dont have a press.
