Car struggling to start
I have a 97 acura integra with 63,000 miles on it. When I start it sometimes it feels like it is struggling to start, like if the battery is dead, however the battery is fine. I have new plugs and and new wires. Only sometimes it starts fine.
your starter might be wearing out. did you replace your battery with a new one since '97? if it's not your starter, it might be the insides of your distributor, which is unfortunate, cuz that's not cheap. well, neither is a new starter, but it's cheaper...
if u haven't replaced your battery, try doing that. if that didn't help, u might want to take it to a mechanic and ask him if he thinks it's your starter or distributor internals starting to fail. good luck!

Your problem is that your starter is not getting a good ground, take some jumper cables and clip them to the neg side of the battery and then to the body of the starter. See if the motor cranks over faster if it does then you have a bad ground strap and your starter is not getting a good ground.
