Intermediate shaft replacement

Both axles are out as well as the intermediate shaft. How do you know if the intermediate shaft needs to be replaced?

DSS axles, level 2.9 are going in, not sure if I should replace the intermediate shaft since I am there...

The only thing that could go bad is the shaft bearing/seal.
