Intermediate Shaft questions
Got a 1990 accord JDM H22A, this setup eats axles, so about every 6 months i have to change them out, lately its been wearing them out quicker than normal. Checked out the axles and noticed there being about 2-3mm play between the axles hub and the intermediate shaft, could my int shaft have play and cause more wear on the axles? Is this why my axles are going out faster? Anyone ever heard of an int shaft having play before? If this is the case, of course I would like to change out the int shaft, anyone know a good play to get it? I can get it for 160 through my dads work, anyone know a better deal, let me know, thanx guys.

Re: Intermediate Shaft questions (poison)
Edit: I am currently running the F22A's int shaft and axles, less strong than the H22A's but from what I've heard they fit alot better, thanx.

Re: Intermediate Shaft questions (4gen)
I got my int shaft (90-93 accord int shaft) for $70 at a local import junkyard. Try this site http://www.uneedapart.com/
Enter all the required info in the fields and you will get emails from all the various junkyards that have the part. I used it when i was looking for a wiring harness and I recieved about 6 different emails from various j-yards that wanted to sell me the part.

If the intermediate shaft was worn wouldn't it only wear out the driver's side axle since that's the only one connected to it? Is you car lowered excessively like 2.5"-3" or more? How's your alignment, wheel bearings, tierod ends and ball joints?

Re: Intermediate Shaft questions (VTECVillain)
havent had a chance to get online lately, thanx for the replies, car is lowered about 2.5, alignment is fine as well as other parts too. I would suspect the same about the drivers side axle, that one needs to be changed badly, gotta find time though, thanx.
