Time for brakes whats yalls input on pads?
Ok well its time to get some new brakes for the lude. Im gunna get some brembo blanks for the rotors possibly stainless lines gotta see how big the paycheck is when it comes in, but what pads would yall recommend? I been looking at Axxis Ultimates, Hawk HP and HP+, and greenstuff. Mainly gunna be street driving, drag time usually twice a month and auto x whenever i start going but not often so not that huge of a factor. Looking for something a step up from stock.
I have the axxis ultimates and autocross on them. They are the best bang for buck and I'd say they're as good as hawks in my opinion. You'll just have to get used to brake dust.
Go with Honda OEM or Hawk HP's for the street and if you decide to auto-x, pick up some Hawk HP Plus'. The Hawks dust more than OEM pads on the street, but they have a little better resistance to fade which should not be an issue for street driving.

well ive actually decided just to resurface my rotors save some cash if i need 2 replace im gunna just go with autozone ones. 2 yr warrenty. but kinda wanted to go a step up from oem pads. was reading more on the pbr/axxis ultimates. any feedback on them?
i love my honda pads. I've never had any problems with them and theyve been able to handle damn near everything i throw at them. Not to mention they have a long life. I've never tried hawk pads but i been wanting to try them out since so many people recommend them.

i second that. love the pads but they have crazy brake dust. stop hard even when cold. if you do go with them just remember to break them in properly. you'll notice a significant increase in stopping power.

Chris...your car is a DD, I have heard axxizz pads do not last very long and eat rotors. I wouldnt get a performance pad b/c you dont race enough to justify uprgraded pads like those.

axxis ult. pads are fine for the street, last long enough.. depends on the driving and what the driver wants to do..

still waiting on someone to try out the Satisfied GS-5
it's on my list, but my brakes haven't worn out yet and i'd rather save the money for now......but Satisfied is one of the few companies that lists friction coefficients for their pads

OEM organic pads SUCK for 15-20 minute road racing sessions. Fine for low speed light duty Auto-X. The OEM organics literally will burn off 3/8" pad in less than 100 miles on open roadcourse.
$47 Autozone Performance Friction carbon/metalic pads with the 2yr warranty are really not that bad though
lol. No really I'm not kidding. minimal fade in comparison to OEM.

I actually have the setup your looking for minus the stanless steel line. I have 4 Brembo drilled/slotted rotors though. I know I don't need D/S but I got them for a good price. I have stock calipers and Hawk Racing Pads. I bought SS Lines but when I swapping the rotors I noticed that one of the Hardlines is bent. (Bought care used) So I'm going to get that fixed before putting on the line. But without the lines....I still stop on dimes, and make change. It has saved my *** a few times. (Must have good Tires though)
The Akebono Pro ACT are great. Also the Raybestos rotors are super cheap like $20 for the front and $12 for the rear,, so if you need to resurface you might as well get new ones.

yeah basically
i tried to call around one time and get some info from the manufacturers
most of them just gave me the bullshit run around when i asked for friction coefficients and fade temps.
but like i said earlier...
