jdm gsr- loses power when @ operating temp.
hello, and thnx in advanced for any help..ok here goes...i just installed a jdm gsr long block, started up fine, CEL came on, once tested-code 14 (iacv or tps) iacv changed for spare i had which that worked previously same issue,so...new part put on, same issue..installed another TPS i had lying around,and adjusted accordingly by voltage and btw, ecu reset everytime before parts installed ,same issue, what its doing-at 1200 to 1500 rpms eratic (bouncing) idle ,and when warms up. total lack of power, as if timing is beeing pulled back..i checked all connections to said parts for proper voltage and read satisfactory, i only lose power when car reaches operating temp (warms up)...before swap, ALL sensors worked with no issue. car ran great, then i blew my lsvwreck..and from there downhill un4tunately..also using usdm wiring harness if it helps any...im literally lost..no other ecu codes are present only for code 14.any question please ask...any answers....u know wat 2 do.. thank you.
I have heard of something similar and it was that they had the TPS and the MAP sensors crossed, the plugs are the same and can happen easily--(I think it was these two that were crossed), someone will chime in I'm sure.
bump 4 any help..checked the wiring..all connected, are jdm / usdm wiring harness the same..i keep hearing bout swapping a12-a14 but..only for civics is tht correct?
