hmmm. how many fans do you have? if you have 2. one is for ac and one is for cooling. the ac fan does turn on to cool the motor too but not as strong as the ac. turn on ur ac and see if the compressor and fan is kicking on. it could be a fan switch. let me know what happens wen u test everything out.

both of the fans do not work and when i turn on the ac from inside i don't hear the compressor kick on. i thought that it was because of the fan not turning on.. where is the fan switch?

Check fuse # ?????
Check a fuse. I know certain componets will go out in tandem from the same fuse.

what they said up top and if you cant follow the wires to see the culprit wire them direct!!!when u turn the ignition fans come on, now remember this means they will 4 ever stay on unless the car is turned completely off.

Hi,

I'm having problems with both compressor and the radiator fans. They don't turn on when I start up the vehicle. I've used the battery to run both fans, tried changing out the thermostat and a handful of other things per a Haynes manual. I've even traced the wires back to the fuse box and everything seems to be in working order with the exception of the previously noted fans. I'm thinking of looking at the solder connections in the climate control. Is there a particular type of solder recommend for the connections in this type of vehicle? Thanks and have a great day.
