IAT sensor
hey guys im having a minor annoying issue with my rex....its a dx mpfi, obd1....i was getting my codes taken care of which were 02 sensor and iat sensor...i got a 4 wire 02 sensor wired n a brand new iat sensor...my check engine light went away but when i'm driving the car for like 10 mins it comes back on...i check it n its iat sensor againg...i tried the sensor on my friends car and got no codes so it cant be the sensor....what do u guys think could be the issue? i'm using an obd1 jumper by the way...
you're sure you wired the four o2 wire's right this can cause mayhem if you didnt?
i would hard wire the iat directly to the ecu if you want an easy fix though..

the 4 wire 02 was wired into the obd0 to obd1 jumper....i asked my friend who did the mpfi swap about the wiring to the iat but he said he didnt have to cut into that, he just had to extend it....when the car was obd0 it didnt throw that code for iat.....do u guys sugest a new obd0 to obd1 jumper?

so i had my buddy and someone else take a look at my engine harness n the wiring for the iat was correct....i'm runing out of options guys i dont know what else to check to make the code go away.....should i replace the obd0 to obd1 jumper with a new one from rywire? could that be my problem? cus when my car was obd0 it didnt throw that code...
