Spun a Rod Bearing. what are my options? IS the head good??
i have a itr 590..b18c5 . started hearin a knock so i pulled the pan ... an bad rod it moves a lot the piston looks good... im going to pull the head tonight... what are my options!!!
If you truely spun a bearing, you'll at the very least need to have it balanced and polished out if the damage isn't to bad. You could probably find another stock ITR crank out there, or you could even use an LS crank for different stroke ratio's. As for the head, it's probably ok if it just spun a rod bearing. That is, unless something else came apart.

What do you mean by cambo? Like combo? It depends on if it's the entire short block for that price or not. And again, it's really up to you. If it were my car, and it was clean titled, I'd want to at least keep the stock block due to the VIN numbers matching.
