Some of you might remember my build thread from last year of my AEBS Sleeved, JRSC with big shot nitrous B16 setup. If not, here: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1763203
I had the SC at 10psi with a 100 shot nitrous. Made 321whp and ran 12s at 111+ trapspeeds. But I wanted more...
So I decide to up the boost from 10 to 12, get bigger injectors and slap on an electronic exhaust cut out. Re-tuned on Friday night. It made 300.0whp letting off at 6500. The cut out netted me 40whp across the board
It would have made close to 360whp at 8500, which was going to be done on the ensuing dyno pull....
But, I guess at 12psi, the blower became ineffective (heat soak) and the 100 nitrous distributed unevenly, resulting in a broken spark plug on cylinder 1 on the dyno pull. End result..damaged piston, scored cylinder wall on cylinder number 1
Other 3 are fine.
So I will be rebuilding this motor, again.
Re-bore to 84.5 or 85mm, 9.1 CR CP Pistons, new o-rings, new headgasket, resurface the head, etc. This time, running JRSC at 12psi and 75-80 shot nitrous. I'm seriously considering the LHT intercooler right now as it's on sale...
But anyways, I'll have pics of the damaged piston tomorrow night when I stop by the shop (Blacktrax Performance) and I'll have pics of the complete re-rebuild here when it gets started
But for now, here's pics of my EM1 for views

will update this week Goal is to have it up and running by CMI 3/31
