Default No O2 sensor, No CEL?

im running open header right now and there's no check engine light at all. car feels fine. it's a 94 gsr swap and i dont see a spot on the header for one, so i guess it's only on the cat? also have a chipped ecu, could the person have disabled the cel for the o2 sensor?

still waiting to get an exhaust set up done but have no time and this is my only car..

could running no o2 sensors cause any damage?

No damage will incur. just air fuel ratios will be off.

Maybe some black smoke from a rich condition but most likely more fuel consumsion.

depends how lean or rich, either way it isn't good. if you're running too lean this greatly increases combustion tempurature which in turn can lead to overheating and warpage of head. too rich on the other can will cause the unburnt fuel to foul plugs, cause lack of performance, clogged cat and having your car smell like *** (smells like rotten eggs).

Yeah, i forgot to mention that if you still have the cat installed, the excess rich a/f rario can clog the cat.
