I have a 92 integra gs-r with the orignal b17...she had 195k on her and obviously old...but recently whenever im over 5000rpms the tachometer jumps all over the place and doesnt read the rpms correctly...and when its in vtec the rpms jump from 6 to 7 and back and then to redline....so im not sure what the problem is..only thing i can think of might be a low on oil but shes not...someone help

 

Is it just the tach or do you actually feel the motor stumble?

 

the motor doesnt feel as power as it should and on occasion it stumbles..but not as bad as the tach does

 

check the ICM
