Normal to have that code for catalyst efficiency since the catalyst is totally inefficient.

If the light bothers you try the spark plug anti-fowler trick to get the light to stay off.

I really hope this isn't your daily driver, test pipes seem to be a growing trend these days and are not very enviromentally friendly . If this is for track purposes then I will keep my mouth shut.

I did it so I dont have to hack up stock Cat, I dont really care about being enviromentally friendly considering anything older than 20 years here can have any kind of exhaust combination and be legal So will do the same.. No its not a daily driver but no just for track either.. I wanted 2 1/2" collector..

Yea but thats around 200 w/ jumper harness.

I recently installed a TODA race header, SMSP cat and Fujitsubo exhaust on my GSR and had the same code thrown. The way I understand it is the secondary 02 sensor does not read that the air has been cleaned up enough from the primary 02 sensor and throws the code. I'm in the process of converting to OBD1 which will take care of the problem or you could trick it as posted above. Hope this helps and if I'm wrong someone feel free to correct me.
