i was driving today when my car started to feel a little sluggish, it was idleing weird at the red light, then off the light it started bucking, check engine light went on. I pulled into a parking lot, and shut off the car. started it back up and it idled fine, drove it home, hooked it up to my scanner and got a idle control sytem malfunction code. I ereased the code and took my car for a good rip, running fine , check engine light didnt go back on. Any ideas what the cause of this code is? TBS sensor? vacuum line?

 

btw, its a 2000 LS

my 2000 LS had the same problem for a little while, i replaced the tps sensor, but it didn't help... turns out it was my idle air control valve (IACV), i highly suggest you clean yours (i think theirs a how to thread on HT), because new they are close to $200 new.... i hope this helped
