97 gsr with 60k heavy dark grey smoke is coming out of my car when i get down on it hard it just started any ideas?

 

are u sure its not a blue/grey smoke?? if so it means that your engine is using/burning oil at high revs like a lot of members cars on here. valve seals or piston rings, get a compression test done and if need be a leak down test, that should narrow it down.

 

nah it is dark grey i even had a friend get behind me and he said it was dark grey no blue tint at all

 

does it do it when your secondaries open??

 

not exactly sure but the smoke pours at high rpm

 

well when i hit my secondaries it shoots out a cloud of dark grey smoke... its just unburnt fuel...

wonder why my car just started doing this? could need some plugs?

 

i had my car on the dyno last week, at 4400rpm (vtec) and 6000rpm (secondaries opening) it let out a puff of black/grey smoke but nothing after that, and when i was going home i was following my friend in his VTi civic and the same was happening when his vtec engaged.
