so far i went out to the store today and got a bucket. bought 1 Need another one for the rinse process. go Meguiers step 2 (polish) and step 3 carnabula wax) will be going back for step one( cleaning the surface) ( not sure if i really need it tho) i bougth some microfiber towls but they are wash towls. i need some DRying towls and some polishing, waxing towls. also for the WAsh i bought Turtle Wax ice car wash. while meguiars is by no means shitty, it is certainly not "the good ****" either. at least not the 3 step detailing system.

ok so basically polishing takes off your clear coat . making the car nicer looing. but wont that result in very low clear coat over a few years?
is so im thinking about skipping polishing and just buying a cleaner ( still have to do some research on them) and then just waxing.

If you skip the polishing part you will not get rid of your swirl marks. The whole point of the polishing is the even out the paint to remove swirl marks and fine scratches from your car. Do some research on meguiarsonline forum and you will find a wealth of knowledge from professionals.
