Default H22 Turbo Setup questions

I have a 92 prelude that I'm planing building an engine for. I am looking for 400whp wouldent mind going a little over but hopefully not under. I'm not sure what the best setup would be, so here is what I'm thinking feel free to tear it apart. Just explain why and add suggestions.

What i have:
H22A4 bottom (block, crank, etc) from a 97base.
H22A4 head from a 01sh
H23 tranny
Aem underdrive pulleys
Aem fuelrail
Str 70mm TB
Skunk 2 H22 camgears

What I'm planning (nothing is set in stone):
ERL sleeves
Crower Rods
cp pistions 9.0:1
GT35R Turbo
Turbo manifold (so many good ones hard to choose)
walpro 255hp fuel pump
1000cc injectors
Crowler Dual springs and titanium retainers
Stock h22 Valves
Head studs
Hondata s300

Please feel free to add suggestions or coments just as long as its productive.

This is not going to be a daily driver but I would like to keep it
dependable.

Edit: List Updated

Looks like a good build, but you deffinatley won't need cams for 400hp, I wouldn't use a blockgaurd, a walbro 255hp instead of the Aeromotive, and If you only want 400 I would deffiantley go with a smaller turbine because 35r's and sc61's are mid 600hp turbos and you wouldn't be taking full advantage of it.

This is just like my setup going in soon, and yea use a smaller turbo, im only using a 35r because im looking to get 500-600whp.Use CP pistons rather than JE or Weisco, they come with way better rings and are alot better quality, but of course you will be paying for it as well.

what turbo would you guys sugesst? I dont want to go too big and have trouble spooling it up but i would like a little room to play if i decide I want to go for a little more later on down the line. Just take into mind I want thouse horses at the wheels. I was looking at the walpro too, thanks. taking cams off the list would help the budget. I dont make much, but would eat ramen noodles every day to buy parts for my car. Great info so far thanks guys keep it coming . What do you guys think about oversized valves, think i can make it with stock sizes?

I would think that a GT30r would be a good choice for your setup, and it would still have room for higher hp. And in all honesty, unless your head is in bad shape, I would just stick with the stock head with an upgraded valvetrain, because I have seen many high hp h22's using the stock head, and I personally wish I would have not spent all of the money I did on headwork, because it is alot of money that could be used elsewhere in the system.

GT35r's are an awesome selection for a H22. i think anything smaller is too small IMO.

ive made 350-375 on 100% stock H22's on pump gas on spring pressure several times.

The head is in good shape except for the bent valves in cylinder 2 caused by the broken rod in my h23vtec engine. so I have to at least change thouse valves if not upgrade them all. and why wouldent you use the blockgaurd? the a4 has floating piston walls woulden't it be safer? Thanks for the help

keep the 35 def 1 of tghe best turbos for a stock or mild h22 you can keep the head stock through some valves springs and retainers if you have a bent valve now pump as at about 15 psi u could easily reach your goals

This is about the same setup I will be doing on my 98 base lude. Im still debating

over the gt35 and the gt30. I want a nice street setup, not strip. I will hit the strip

now and then, but it will be my daily driver and primarily a street car. Im thinking

the 35 might spool too late for me to really enjoy it on the street, yet I hate not to

buy cuz its only like 50 bucks more. I dunno, so confused. Im also still looking for

a good manifold that allows me to retain ps and ac. I guess Im stuck with a log

mani, maybe a drag gen 4. Any opinions?
