What color is my remote signal line?
Well its time I guess for my car to get its audio stuff done right, as I just bought a cage/ ground strap for it... and an amp....
Its a JVC HU KDSX780. There's a blue line that has antenna power written on it? Is that the line that I need to splice into to have power signal/switch turn-on for my Amp?
Sorry for the crappy quality. I just used windows picture resizer and ripped Jpegs off of raw's.

Yes...
And if you look at the white plug that connects to the car's harness, there's probably not even a wire coming out of the car's connector that the blue wire from the deck goes to...

so sad that people think electrical tape is an adequate method of connecting wires..

well if you're soldering the wires, you should be putting heat shrink over it. electrical tape wont stand the test of time for an insulator especially with the heat inside of a car.

i would redo the whole harness. cut out the old connections, restrip them, solderthem and heat shrink them.

The Amp is wired to the battery but what's the remote turn on lead color? I thought it was blue like Alpine HU's..? but my blue wire says antenna power?
check the blue wire that is striped, if you take all the tape off and you should find a wire that isnt connected to anything. the wiring harness i have has a label amp remote and is heatshrinked. this is for a sony cd player...

First the color from all name brand headunits and most out there use a standered for wire color. Some headunits have a remote lead and a amp lead. blue will be ant lead and blue/white will be the amp turn on. If there is only one blue/white wire for the antenna use that wire to power both the amp and the power atenna.
Second..... Why does that harness on the radio not match the wire that you are using and showing pictures of that are supppose to be the raido harness wires?
