Default Anyone ever had this happen before?

We were replacing a radiator on a car today that supposedly had a cracked radiator. We then went to bleed the coolant with a dummy reservoir in place of the radiator cap. On start-up the radiator shot coolant out of the top of the radiator all over the engine and car. I'm talking with force too. But anyway we kept bleeding.

After it all seemed bled we turned it off and put the radiator cap back on. Started it up and it blew the heater hose off the block. Drenching the entire motor again. I'm guessing headgasket, but I've never seen one this bad before.

The odd thing is that except for overheating, the car doesn't really run bad. When you open the bleeder valve exhaust comes pouring out of it like a volcano.

i think thats what it is

this was my car, and dam we made a mess. wasted all the coolant, painted the motor 3 coats with it. then drove it back to my house across joliet, and it was a freaking smoke bomb. everybody was staring.

then the other day i drove it through two subdivisions, it warmed up before i got to point B, but never overheated. drove fine with no problems.

so i dunno, doesn't matter anyway, its gettin trans and motor swapped
