Default RS Machine Type R pistons + Eagle rods

I am doing a rebuild on my GSR and want to bump up the compression a tad and clean everything up a bit with the RS machines .20 over TR pistons.

Will Eagle rods go straight on those pistons with no modificaition to them?

if those pistons are like oem and use a press fit pin you will need modifications to use them on eagle rods

you either have to machine the pistons to accept spiral locks or bush the rods to be able to press fit

Or you can use the Gsr rods. Do you have to modify the Gsr to fit TR pistons?

I dropped RS machines a PM a few days back and I guess it didn't go through, maybe because I sent it at work. I wanted to know quick as I saw a few for sale in the classifieds.

I resent it yesterday and he confirmed that I do in fact have to use stock rods with these.

Thanks fellas.

I used to be on this site more then it got flooded with douche bags like you saying search instead of answering the GD question. If that is all you are going to put then do waste you fing time as you are no help to anyone here.

People come here to learn about cars and others come to help people out, then there are people like you who are here for what reason I don't have a clue.

Oh, and I average 0.28 posts per day. I guess I must sit behind my computer a lot, huh?
