Default Ebay turbo kit/Stock boosted LS dyno results

Hey guys, when i was looking on the internet for dyno charts for stock Boosted LS's i had alot of trouble, and alot of inquiries on how bad ebay turbo kits were, so now that iam completely finished my car, and its been to the dyno twice, i would like to post my set up, for anyone who is looking to boost an LS, or just anyone who is interested.

My set up:

Completely stock LS
No name ebay turbo kit
RC 440 injectors
2.5 " exhaust ( bottle necks into a 2" near the muffler)
T3/T4 .63 A/R, .50 A/R Compressor
Cast iron log style manifold
2 1/4 " charge piping

It was street tuned by Zeeman, only about 2 hours, and tuned for 91 octane ( he recommended 94 ) but i decided to go 91 octane. I had a wastegate problem, i was boosting @ 11psi, with a 7 pound spring, dont know why, this was my result at the dyno @ 11psi

I changed the wastegate a month later, and i just went back to the dyno with a brand new Turbo Smart wastegate, and Zeeman dyno tuned it..

the first run was @ 9psi, with zeeman just starting to tune, and the last one was @13psi, and the big dip in the chart is me letting off the gas, to be honest it was making a crazy noise when is spooled, i thought something was wrong so i let off, i made the same power, and like 30wt @2 psi less this time, by zeeman doing it on the dyno, i strongly recommend dyno tuning , i am really happy with the results, and i really recommend Zeeman, he was a great help during the turbo build, and he has tuned for me 3 times now, and i am more then happy with his street tuning and dyno tuning results, considering this is a $1400 Ebay turbo kit, that i have been driving for 6 months now. Zeeman has also done other minor things on my car, answered alot of questions, and still has not steered my wrong, i recommend him 100%.

This thread was only made to help show Boosted LS results, please dont post dumb replies just to say something, im not comparing my set up to anybodys, dont post saying u dont like the numbers or anything like that, or ur set up is way better, or produced way more, I am more then happy with what i have.

I forgot to mention, The first pull i did @9psi, was 210whp, 208wt, the one in red on the graph is run 5, the car was really hot, and losing power. I also did 237whp, 243 wt @ 11psi

solid numbers from a simple setup.

Very similar numbers to that other guy that posted his turbo LS setup with 3" exhaust....and paolos got a small 2.5" exhaust with a bottle neck down to 2" at the axle back flange.

Proves that you don't need to spend big bucks to get good results.

Nice numbers. I have a boosted LS myself, and I love it. I just bought a vtec head and will hopefully get in on in a month or two. I'm shooting for 300 whp when done.

My friend just bought a 91 DA with 150k miles. He bought an EBAY turbo kit and wants me to help install it next week. Are there any tips or tricks?
