Default bore & stroke

now, corrcect me if i'm wrong....bore is the size of the cylinder & stroke is the length of travel of the piston up the cylinder....thanks

aight....thanks....next question: compression....for example: 10.6:1...now that means the piston travels up the cylinder 10.6 in. (?..is it measured in inches) for every one stroke?

No, the CR is as follows:

Trapped Volume = (Head Gasket Volume) + (Deck Height Volume) - (Piston Crown Displacement Volume)

Now:

(Cylinder Volume + Trapped Volume) / (Trapped Volume) = CR:1
