Default ep3 supercharger ???

Sup everyone, I recently purchased a 2003 ep3 stock. I am planning on supercharging it, but I have a few questions for the SC ep3 guys. Wondering how u like the setup on ur ep3 (I.e. Pros and Cons) and how did it affect your MPG. Thanks for any info further hand.

IMO turbo is the way to go. S/C max power would probably 50whp from stock (if that) which is probably slightly faster than a type-S. Most turbo kits you should be able to get over 200 whp no problem. It all depends on how much power you want and what type of powerband you need.

Instant power w/ low end torque = S/C
Top end horsepower = Turbo

My friend has the Jackson Racing S/C. He mainly does city driving and he likes the added power.

Hondata KPRO
Hondata intake manifold gasket
RC 440 CC injectors
ARC BOX
Smaller pulleys
6 speed tranny

Welcome to EP ownership! Also dig around ephatch.com's section on boost; pretty much everything's been done so far.

Yes, you can get more power out of a turbo, but -- IMO -- anything more gets to be fairly useless on a FWD car.

As far as gas mileage goes, I think it's pretty normal with the SC.

I personaly went Turbo but i alot of my friends went with the Jackson Race kit its ok power but reliability is way better then potetial problems with the greddy turbo kit IE; Oil return, and oil leakage on the turbo and cracking manifolds

Supercharger is great if you are looking into that route. Ephatch.com should give you a lot of help with the differences with turbo and JRSC. good luck
