Default studdering

Alright me and my friends are talking bets cause we are out of ideas.

B16a turbo with internals blaa blaa bla.

So when i am driving and get into the throttle right before vtec engages the car feels like it goes into seizures. It cuts out starts sputtering. it feels like its ignition so i changed my plugs wires distributor. checked my timing it went away for a while but it is back worse than ever. even if I am not full throttle if i slowly bring it up. it just starts backfiring cutting sputtering. So the only other thing that i can think of is maybe a stuck injector or cracked. But it feels like ignition.

When this happens the tach goes nuts and it puffs out like a blueish smoke. Any ideas?

Thanks

Nick

more than likely ignition related, i just had problems due to wires - though i bent valves at first. you say it went away before so its probably the same thing.

what motor? stock ignition? what spark plugs/gap? wires? rotor if you run one? what do you have your timing set at?

tach goes crazy

key words, the tach reads off the sensors in the distributor, therefore it is a malfunction in that system. wiring, connection, TDC sensor etc....

if it were plugs or wires or injectors etc the tach would stay with the engine RPM.

dont care if you changed it so dont come back and say i changed it. i have been in the automotive repair field over 10 years new never ever "gaurantees" good.

check wiring carefully if anything is cut into redo and redo carefully.

its your distributor cap. I had the same probelm on my gsr. Take the distributer cap off and wipe it out. Your going to see some greenish substance inside. Then wipe the inside of the distributor off to get all of the corosion.
