downpipe hitting motor mount
car is a 90 hatch .. the downpipe is from an EG. the motor is a d15b2. The downpipe is hitting off of the front motor mount so I can't get it bolted on at all.. Is there anything I can do without doing a ton of welding to the dp besides buying a new one?

Re: (Schister66)
how close is it hitting. I know I had to shave a little webbing off my block. Also when I put the turbo on the downpipe I had to make sure the turbo was turned as far as it could in the small clearances of the manfold flange (hard to explain, but if the bolts are loose there is some play wher the bolts are smaller than the holes in the manifold flange).

no pics yet ... I'll see if I can get some later today tho. I don't think it is hitting by a lot but its still a problem. Is notching the motor mount a bad idea?

Re: (blinger)
ended up having to redo the entire downpipe instead. there was no way to get it to work even if I would have cut the motor mount
