Which Jack Stands Do You Use?
I have a set that I got out of a craftsman combo back. It was a 2.5 ton floor jack and jackstands. Well, the jack was a piece of ****, but the jack stands were real short and small! I took the whole thing back cause the jack broke (for the 2nd time) I wanted to get those jackstands though. When I bought new ones, the were tall, I was like WTF? So I worked out a trade, bought a set of talls, and traded them off for the smalls to return the jack. Worked out pretty well!!
I haven't seen them seperately, but I haven't really looked hard, or asked. I bet you might be able to find them in a catelogue...
Yes, they are very short. Right around the neighbourhood of 11"...

dude how do you guys even get to use your jackstands? everytime i jack the car up on the sides, i have no room left to shove the jackstands in (because the hydro-jack is taking up all the room)?
Uh...you should jack it from the front, then you would have room. You can either jack it up from the tow hooks in the front (2 of them) or the center of lower rad support.
To jack it up from the rear, jack it up on the tow hook in the rear.

I bought a Craftsman SUV jack and some Craftsman jackstands. I can lift the front some 21", which makes it cake to slide the jackstands on the frame under the cockpit.

sorry, I took so long to reply. they are 15 3/8', but you will need a big jack to get the car up that high. If you are using a smaller jack like a 2 to 2 1/2 ton you will need smaller ones. For that I got Team Mechanix set from Kragens. Sorry but the Craftsmans ones cost ~$30 I was thinking about the Kragens ones earlier.
btw: my car is lowered 2 inches.

I've always used the two points on the side chassis and the front support.
