Default Anyone upgrade their horn?

The stock horn makes me sad. Thinking of upgrading, how hard would the install be?

You can upgrade using an OEM piece -- IE accord horn(which doesnt sound that much better) ... or go the aftermarket route... hella makes nice units or you can use something like this:

Installation is straight-forward and basically any horn system you buy will include install instructions.

i switched out the stock POS for the fit one which sounds decent atleast. intstall is VERY easy. all you have to do is remove you bumper and unscrew the stock horn and screw in the new one, replace bumper, and your done!

I stopped honking after I realized people must think they just cut off a moped.

I thought about it too. Probably will eventually. If you've ever driven in Vegas, you know our horns don't cut it here

I just stick my head out the window and start yelling and cursing...that usually does the trick.

Marshall

PS You can also try waving a gun out the window...I wouldn't recommend it but I guarantee it'll get the job done

I just got some Highway Blasters (high and low) at O'Reilly. It does the trick.

Hella Supertones are my personal favorite, but they aren't plug and play so it is a bit of a pain in the *** to set them up.

Ok I retract my statement. I now realize how weak our horns are when this asshat in an suv began changing lanes onto mine while we were side by side and kept doing so even as I honked.
