almost all will need some bumper trimming.
You can keep the grill but you have to trim off some from the inside of the bumper to make some clearance for the intercooler.
6 inch will bolt directly underneath your bumper support, drill holes from the bottom, put bolts in through the ends of the bumper support, its hollow.

pretty much the less i have to trim/drill the better. not that i'm lazy, but i'm trying to not mangle the car in any way since i just paid a ton to get new paint job and fix damage from a black-ice-incurred snowbank collision.

The plastic bumper will need trimmed some.
A 6 inch intercooler will bolt under the metal bumper support no prob.

a precision 350hp intercooler will fit great. go to http://www.nolimitmotorsport.com . They are only $235. Retail is probably 325. The size of this intercooler is 26 3/4 x 6.20x 3.5 .
It should work just fine.

You could get the Precision, but it isn't the best looking IC to put in the front of an Integra. I hate how they dont fill out the grill. If you're concerned w/ that then look into the JRC 6" and 8" Series or the CCA 6" and 8" ICs....

yeah that precision intercooler wont fill out the grill because its 26 3/4 in length and the grill is 34inchs.
I went with the precision one. Still has to be installed.

johnny race car company does not make intercoolers anymore. I checked the site and he said he is on a long vacation. Ebay does not have any more of them either.

Just thought I'd throw this out there,
I got a JRC 31 X 8 X 3 on my EG Civic that completely fills out the grill you can't even see the endtanks, problem is it is blocking too much air to my radiator.
I'm looking to get something a little bit shorter so that some air can flow around the endtank area.

that was aimed at the OP, not you though. I agree with what you said.

i dont want to fill out the grill completely, thats the thing, im looking for an intercooler that fits well and provides enough room for air to get around, i dont like the full grill look too much, almost makes it look too full, ya know?
lol, sorry for being picky, i just want what i want, like everybody else on here.

If you are staying under 300hp I would get a drag intercooler. Only downside to the drag is it only has a 2'' hot side inlet and a 2.25'' cold side outlet.
I had one on my stock turbo setup. It looked very nice. Didnt fill the grill up completely but filed a 98+ integra bumper up vertically.
I have since went to a 500hp Spearco though, still some room but not as much. I really liked the look of the drag. I had to cut out the center section of the bumper though, because I refuse to cut my bumper reinforcement bar.

This is the spearco, much thicker (I think its 3'' thick) but just about an inch taller than the drag, and longer as well.
