The 600 hp intercooler Precision AS1025, Will I need to cut the metal bumper or no? I know I will need to cut the plastic bumper but what about the metal bumper?

what vehicle is it goin on? you probably dont have to cut anything if its on a 94+ Integra not even the grille

I have the 750 hp precision intercooler and we had to make a whole new bumper support. We didnt have to cut the grill out of the front bumper but I did anyways looks nice to me =D

My AS1025 (600hp model) fit without modifying the bumper support at all. All you will have to do is shave a little bit of the back of the platic grill. My car is 00' EX coupe.

on the teg i had to cut alittle of my bumper support because the intercooler was too low

i have a 98 integra and i had to cut the bumper support. it hung to low and the bumper wouldnt fit on right, and i was afraid to bottom it out. i cut about an inch of it away and mounted it highter. i had a complete writeup on this but the pics dont work anymore..just search my name and you can read what everyone posted. i had to cut my bumper too btw. hope this helped

Funny, cause I have the smaller precision intercooler (350 hp) and I have to shave quite a bit off of the bumper grille. I would think that with the bigger one, you would have to cut more.

I had to shave A LOT off of the bumper grills.

Hey what size coulpers are you guys using on the 2.75" end tank outlets?
2.5"?? How do you make them fit?

I used 2.5 couplers and I used some spray silcon and rubbed it around the coupler and used arm muscle to get it over! It wont come off =D

Exactly. I got a 2.75-2.5" reducer, fit absolutely flawless.

can somebody tell me what the overall size of this cooler is. it says 31.5 x 8 x 3.5, but i am unsure if that is the core size or complete size. thnks.

Why spend the extra 20$? I would truly like to find out how many people are running a 2.5 with no problems and saving 20x2=40$ on some plain ol couplers.
I figured I could get the 2.5" ones on with some elbow grease and maybe some slight grinding.

I tried that and it fit but it was so tight I figured it would probably wear out or maybe dry out quicker so I would have to buy some anyway. Do it right or do it twice is what I say.

I didnt cut the bumper support and it fits just fine. You just need to trim behind the bumper some to make it fit okay. You can keep the grill like i did - makes it more stealthy.

I went with the 2.75" -&gt; 2.5" reducers. It was easier fit.

Well the reason I didnt go with the transition coupler is because for one I didnt have one and two didnt have time to go get one. We got it on and I love it the 750 intercooler is huge! I probably losinpressure since its so big, but it looks sexy =D
